North American Refugee Health Conference

Health Means the World to Us

The North American Refugee Health Conference (NARHC) will be held June 14-16, 2019 at the Sheraton Hotel Toronto, Canada. NARHC has become the largest clinical refugee conference globally. Up to 700 health care providers, policy makers, public health specialists, and refugees are expected to attend.

The conference focuses on best practice, education, research, and advocacy on refugee health. While all aspects of refugee health will be discussed from migration to resettlement, infectious and chronic disease, and mental health, this year will have an emphasis on the Rohingya refugee crisis and trauma and resiliency.

We are pleased to announce our collaboration with the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH) for an Intensive Update Course in Tropical Medicine. This will be held in advance of NARHC, along with a course on nutrition in refugees.
