2017 Food as Medicine Update: Microbiome at the Bedside and Beyond

The Food as Medicine Update series was created to address the knowledge-gap in continuing medical education related to the role of nutrition in patient care. In this half-day symposium, healthcare professionals will learn about the emerging field of gut microbiome in health and disease. This group learning CME activity is accredited by the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) office at the University of Toronto.

As part of this session, Dr. Philip Sherman, MD, FRCPC will be awarded the Rundle-Lister Lectureship in Transformative Nutritional Medical Education in recognition of his outstanding contributions to translational research in the field of gut microbiome and health.
