Congratulations on your student award!

You’ve worked hard to achieve your goals throughout your academic journey here at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine. Your donor is excited to learn more about you − your interests and how their support impacts you as a student.

Please show your appreciation for your donor’s support by filling out the form below. The information you share will be formatted into a letter and sent to your donor as a small token of appreciation.

Your letter helps to nurture strong relationships between award recipients and donors, encouraging ongoing support for other students like you at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine.

Please use the next four fields to draft the body of your letter (300-400 words total). We will add a standard salutation and signature to your message.
Provide one or two sentences thanking your donor (noting fund amounts is not important).
Provide three or four sentences that describe how the donation has supported your work, what you’ve been able to achieve, how it feels to have a donor’s support, etc. Provide specific examples if possible.
Provide three or four sentences that describe you, your interests, your motivation for pursuing your program, etc.
Provide three or four sentences that describe future goals, what line of work you’re interested in, what you’re most excited about, etc.

From time to time the Advancement Office hosts donors for coffee/tea or lunch in order to thank them for their generosity. In some cases, the donors specifically request that the beneficiary of their support attend. If that is the case, someone from the Advancement Office will contact you to make arrangements.
