Trauma-Informed Care and Advances in Refugee Healthcare

The Symposium on Trauma-Informed Care & Advances in Refugee Healthcare will present a state of the art lectures on trauma-informed care and refugee healthcare. We will address the long-term psychological effects of trauma and present effective guidelines to assess and manage mental illness. We will also present an optimal treatment strategy to treat refugees suffering from diabetes, malnutrition, along with exploring health promotion practices in bone health.
