Translational Research Program - Online Info Session Winter 2020

If you're looking for an unconventional masters degree program to help you think differently, to champion change, and developing skills like creative problem-solving and networking so that you can have more IMPACT on patients, medicine and care... join us online to learn more!

This is an online discussion session with the TRP Director with prospective students interested in learning more about the program.

The MHSc in Translational Research in Health Sciences is a two-year, course-based professional degree at the Faculty of Medicine designed for current and aspiring innovators from interprofessional backgrounds (medicine, life sciences, social sciences, engineering, design, and communications etc) who want to learn creative problem-solving skills, strategies and competencies to translate (scientific) knowledge into applications that improve medicine, health and care.

Through flexible coursework; team-based, real-world translational challenges; and extensive mentorship and networking, we facilitate self-directed and collaborative “learning by doing.” Students gain experience, expertise, and practical insights into the development and design processes. The curriculum covers translational networks and strategies needed to develop, test and implement innovations. Our mission is to inspire people to think differently so that they learn to champion change in their communities and contexts.
