SickKids T4 Health - Triage, Transport, Treatment & Transition Neonatology Conference 2019

The 2019 conference will focus on “the Good, the Bad and the Ugly” in neonatal care along the continuum - Triage, Transport, Treatment and Transition. In keeping with our family-centered, collaborative-practice model of health care to support optimal clinical outcomes, the expertise of inter-professional team members will aid in facilitating discussions of “the Good, the Bad and the Ugly” clinical care scenarios derived from patients, their families and their care-givers, in conjunction with emerging clinical practices.

We encourage participation from all health care professionals who work in NICUs, whether community based or tertiary academic hospitals, by registering and endeavoring to learn together to:
- Enhance knowledge of best practice in the emerging themes of neonatal triage, transport, treatment, and transition
- Influence neonatal care across the health continuum through reflection on current practices and processes
- Foster a culture of inter-professional collaboration, learning, and professional development
