The Black Medical Students Association Mental Health Series will be focusing on the social determinants of mental health in the Black Canadian population. Our speakers are highly qualified healthcare professionals and researchers with a great depth of knowledge and expertise surrounding this topic. 

All are welcome to come learn how the Black community and its allies can collectively break the stigma and increase awareness on mental health.

The March 18th session will feature the following talks:

Notisha Massaquoi - Effective Mental Health Programs for Black Communities Within Primary Healthcare Settings

Kimberley Moore - Enhanced Youth Outreach Worker Program

Dr. Natasha Browne - Self-care, Networking and/or Navigating Resources in the GTA Landscape

Dr. Fatimah Jackson-Best - Pathways to Care and Mental Health Research in the Caribbean and Canada
