Interventional Neuroradiology Symposium

Now in its 18th year, the Annual Interventional Neuroradiology Symposium will continue to integrate the conceptual and practical aspects of our field, other fields including basic sciences, Neurology, Neurosurgery and Imaging, and, most importantly the various schools of thought and practice across Canada. We are pleased to have contributions from experts from Canada, the US and Europe at our Symposium. One major focus will be Pediatric Intervention and we have experts from the Children’s Hospital in Boston (Darren Orbach) and Greater Ormond Street Hospital in London, UK (Drs Robertson and Rennie) speak.

Presentation topics will include Stroke – its prevention and its conceptual and organizational aspects, and Aneurysms – from concepts to challenges. Round table discussions and interactive audience participation will also be part of the program. In addition, the 3rd Annual Karel G. ter Brugge lectureship will be led by Prof. Gabriel Rinkel and will highlight concepts on development, growth and rupture of aneurysms.

With international experts like Matthew Gounis , Adnan Siddiqui, Demetrius Lopes, and Patrik Brouwer, we hope that our program will once again attract a large number of participants to ensure lively discussions in a vibrant and collegial environment.
