Information Session on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Research and Innovation - Diversity in Research Design

This session are designed to help researchers integrate EDI principles into their research and training activities and craft research funding proposals that effectively address EDI considerations.

This information session will focus on considering sex, gender, and/or diversity in research design and the research process. Presenters will provide an overview of the concepts of sex/gender and GBA+ (gender-based analysis plus) in research, and a panel of U of T researchers from a range of disciplines will discuss how they have integrated considerations of sex, gender, and other factors into their research questions and methods.

Please note that this venue has limited seating capacity, but we will also offer the option to participate in the session remotely. If the room is at capacity, or if you are unable to attend in person, we will send you a link to access a live webcast.

Please RSVP to admin.ovpri@utoronto.ca, indicating whether you wish to attend in-person or remotely.

The SciNet Offices are accessible by elevator, and the classroom includes accessible seating. If you require any accommodations, please contact Andrea Gill, amk.gill@utoronto.ca.
