IMS Scientific Day

The Annual IMS Scientific Day is the academic highlight of the year. The day includes the Bernard Langer Annual Lecture in Health Sciences, student presentations, symposium and data blitz student talks and an awards ceremony and reception. Each year, a guest speaker is selected who is internationally recognized for their scientific contributions and is also known to be an excellent role model and mentor for graduate students. This year we are excited to have Dr. Dongeun Dan Huh present the keynote address.

The title of his talk is “Microengineered physiological bio-mimicry: Human organs-on-chips.” Dr. Huh is the Wilf Family Term Chair and Assistant Professor of Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania and Principal Investigator of BIOLines, the Biologically Inspired Engineering Systems Laboratory.
