Bridges to Peace Lecture: The Use of Medicine and Public Health in Civil Society Strengthening and Peacebuilding

CISEPO invites to you to attend the inaugural CISEPO Bridges to Peace Lecture. The event will be held on Tuesday April 30, at 7pm at the Salter Auditorium in the Peter Gilgan Centre at 686 Bay Street in Toronto. 

Brigadier General Dr. Tarif Bader, M.D., M.H.A., M.A., the Surgeon General of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will deliver the lecture on the use of Medicine and Public Health in Civil Society Strengthening and Peacebuilding, and will receive the Dr. Arnold M. Noyek Visiting Professorship. 

Born in the Druze community of Hurfeish, Israel, Dr. Bader is the first Israeli Druze to occupy the office of Surgeon General of the IDF.

Proceeds from the event will help fund scholarships for CISEPO’s International Pediatric Emergency Medicine Program (IPEME).
