Alumni Reunion - CPD Workshop: Wellness for Healthcare Professionals

Join an expert panel for this CPD-accredited event on wellness among health professionals, featuring a debate on ‘who is responsible for your health?’

Wellness for Healthcare Professionals is a half-day University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine CPD workshop.

The agenda includes a plenary talk by Carol-anne Moulton, “Peeking behind the curtain: surgical judgment beyond cognition”, a three-person panel sharing personal narratives around physician health and well-being, and a moderated debate over the following question: Be it resolved that burnout is public health crisis that requires systemic intervention. Pros and Cons. Opportunities for participant interaction are integrated throughout the program.

Learning Objectives

After attending this CPD event, the participant will be able to better:

  • Discuss controversies and disparities in health and wellness discourses
  • Identify factors that impact health and wellness
  • Challenge previous perceptions of health and wellness
  • Use personal narrative to reflect on one’s own health and wellbeing
