2019 PGME Global Health Day on Women, Girls and Global Health

The 2019 Global Health Day is planned by a resident committee from across programs and specialties and will include passionate presenters who have established themselves as effective leaders committed to enhanced, equitable and sustainable health and wellbeing for women and girls across the world. 

The specific educational objectives for participants are to:

  • introduce themes and issues related to global health for women and girls from a variety of perspectives. 
  • develop a deeper understanding of motivations and processes for effective global health activism and advocacy for/by women and girls 
  • encourage participation and engagement in advancing global health for women and girls 
  • create a forum for peer to peer discussion; to share global health concerns, education, and experience.
