Safe Opioid Prescribing: Challenging Cases in Opioid Use and Misuse

The Safe Opioid Prescribing Course includes a Webinar Series (3 webinars), followed by an in-person Skill Development workshop. This Series of Courses has been created to assist physicians in acquiring knowledge and learning new skills in the field of pain management, especially in the area of chronic non-cancer pain. Goals of the course include: developing multi-modal approaches to complex chronic pain, initiating & managing safe & effective opioid therapy, preventing
& addressing addiction to prescription opioids, and developing communication & collaboration practice skills to better manage opioid therapy for your chronic pain patients.

Note: This program must be completed in sequence. The next session begins June 21, 2017.
